The Ninth Annual North Texas Christian Writers Conference begins on Friday, June 22 in Fort Worth. This is a conference that will inspire, instruct and challenge you.
The workshops will cover all aspects of the craft of writing from editing and revising to dialogue and everything in between. The opportunity will be there to talk with experts about building your platform.
The faculty comes from all over the country to share insights into the craft and to be available for one-on-one consultations.
This is primarily a teaching conference—one of the best I’ve ever attended.
There are no editors or agents so there’s no pressure get an appointment or squeeze into their table at a meal. No sweating over coming up with a pitch.
It’s a time to focus on learning, on strengthening old relationships and developing new friendships with fellow writers.
This conference will encourage and build you up while you develop new insights into your writing.
This was the first conference I ever attended and where I took the first steps to being a writer, to taking what I read in books and magazines and seeing practical, eye-opening applications in the classes and workshops.
If you’re looking for a great conference experience, check this one out.
Henry, this sounds like a good conference to put on the 2013 calendar. Thanks for making me aware of it.–Tom
Looking forward to it, and to attending your class!
Thanks. Now I need to be extra sharp.
You’re welcome, Tom. Hope you can make it next year.
