I am excited to announce the launch of my redesigned website. My goal is to offer quality information to readers, writers, and those who want to be writers.
The desire to write has been in my heart since I first learned to read. It began to produce fruit in 2002, when I became serious about a novel I had toyed with for years. Then came the learning years. Conferences, writing groups, online courses. Working with mentors and coaches—people who poured their love of storytelling into me, making me better. Getting up early to write and still work a full time job.
The novel came together. Journey to Riverbend won awards, including Operation First Novel, and was published in 2011.
The adventure continues, and I invite you to ride along with me as we explore the new worlds this writing journey will lead us to. Sometimes we’ll be in the Old West with the Riverbend characters; sometimes with new characters who have wandered into my writing world, like attorney Emily Peyton. We’ll spend time with Charlie Latham in modern-day Fort Worth. And Lord Fallon in the land of Maracaya. The universe of a writer and a reader is limitless, and I’m looking forward to exploring it with you.
When you sign up for my newsletter, you will receive my short story, Rachel’s Rescue which tells the story of how Rachel Stone escaped prostitution and began her own journey to healing, restoration, and Michael Archer.
The newsletter will keep you up-to-date on new releases and the further adventures of characters you already know. And you’ll be the first to meet new characters and new stories.
Sign up in the link to the right of this post to get this story of one woman’s bravery and determination to walk free.
The desire to help other writers birthed in my own adventure to publication. Helping others realize their dream is one way for me to thank all those who poured into me along the way. If you have thought of being a writer, we can journey together, learning the craft and walking out the adventure of publishing. I’ll have resources on the site that dig into the different aspects of writing a story. You’ll have the opportunity to work one-on-one with me on your own writing journey.
I’m looking forward to our journey together.
